I live very happily in a cottage in Port Melbourne.
To help people create their own unique and memorable ceremony is a joy and a privilege and gives me so much pleasure.
For most of my adult life I have worked in the performing arts as a professional actress and occasional teacher, married for many years and brought up two wonderful daughters.
My training as a celebrant at Monash University, completing the Graduate Diploma of Arts (Civil Ceremonies) and my work as an actress contribute to the wealth of experience, communication skills and knowledge I bring to each celebration.
It is my pleasure to offer my expertise, life experience and skills to make with you a very personal ceremony for any occasion. One that reflects your feelings for you and your partner, and of the people and occasions you are celebrating.

I live close to the city but am happy to travel wherever necessary….and often have!

Our role as civil celebrants is to find ways of crafting unique ceremonies that engage and connect us to our family, friends and the community in which we live.
All throughout our lives there are many special life moments to mark with ritual and ceremony, occasions to remember and reflect upon. Your marriage, celebrating love and commitment, welcoming a child, death of a loved one, divorce, moving into a new home……and so many more.
A ceremony that expresses your individuality and captures the vision you have for this special occasion. It can be simple, traditional or quirky, large or small and include cultural, religious and spiritual elements if you choose. The content is entirely your choice.
Whether intimate or lavish I will provide all the assistance you need, supporting your wishes with many ideas and resources, preparation and lodgement of all legal documents and provide a sound system if required.
To assist with your planning I can provide you with many examples of readings, vows and ideas that you may wish to weave into your ceremony and if you would like to involve family and friends, suggest ways they too may be included.
We will meet and make contact through phone and email as many times as you like during the planning process. As well as completing the necessary legal documents and recognising the compulsory aspects of your wedding ceremony, I will work with you for as long as it takes, until your ceremony is just as you wish it to be.
A ceremony to acknowledge special milestones, further strengthening of the bond between two people, recognition of all you have meant, and continue to mean, to each other……it may be the beginning of new meaning and new beginnings.

Every bit as meaningful as a marriage ceremony, but without the legal inclusions (at the moment!).
The loss of a loved one may be the most profound and painful stage of our lives. Ceremonies to honour and celebrate the life of a person who has died are an essential expression of grief and loss - and are the beginning of a long journey of acceptance. These ceremonies recognise the reality of death and help family and friends journey toward living a meaningful life without their beloved friend and family member.
It is a unifying and deeply emotional occasion to pay tribute, to farewell and remember, and join with others to give and receive comfort
A Ceremony of Naming to welcome a new life or an older child to the community is an ancient custom and an expression of joy and hope. It is a memorable and meaningful day for family and friends, those you would like to take an active part in the life and upbringing of your child.
An important part of the ceremony is the pledge of chosen guardians/mentors/godparents to accept the responsibility of sharing their wisdom and giving life-long guidance to the child.
